The Hoffman Group, Myrtle Beach’s Premier Oceanfront Condominium

Sales & Marketing firm, Announces the Newest Resort to Grace the

Myrtle Beach Shoreline has received its Certificate of Occupancy

Excited Purchasers are Now Closing on their New Condo in

the Beautiful New Sandy Beach Resort

September 19, 2007 - Myrtle Beach, SC – The new construction, Phase II condominium tower of the Sandy Beach Resort has received a Certificate of Occupancy from the City allowing unit closings to begin. The oceanfront resort is a brilliant architectural achievement with purist modern lines, cantilevered angled supports, curved glass fronts and “wave” design elements. Designed by Mozingo+Wallace Architects LLC, the new tower and a façade over the original tower combine to deliver a unified magnificent update to the Ocean Boulevard view. The original Phase I building with 78 total units, opened in Spring 2000 and has continued to operate throughout the construction process.

Released for pre-construction sales in 2005, the new tower offers a total of 150 one, two and three-bedroom condominiums and represents over $65,000,000 in sales volume. General Contractor, R.J. Griffin & Company, a JE Dunn Construction Group Company and leading national multi-unit contractor, is completing minor site improvements that will allow the building to be open for vacation rentals by October 1, 2007.

“This is truly the most innovative architectural design Myrtle Beach has ever seen,” said Steve Edelman, COO of The Hoffman Group. “More exciting,” he continued, “the developer has taken extra steps to make the unit interiors equally impressive and these factors combined are making purchasers eager to close, despite the national weakness in the real estate market.”

Individual units feature a Proprietary Custom Furniture Collection by American of Martinsville, custom lighting, original artwork, granite countertops in kitchen and bath, stainless steel appliances, tiled entry, washer/dryer, custom bedding, and an elegant color palette for upholstery, carpeting and wall treatments.

The Fall 2007 delivery of the Sandy Beach, Phase II and the upcoming Dunes Village Resort Phase II marks a total of 20 new construction towers that The Hoffman Group has brought from pre-sales to opening since the Sandy Beach Phase I delivered in May 2000. The market for Myrtle Beach oceanfront condominiums therefore remains strong and vibrant for second home purchasers, particularly those who participate in onsite rental management programs for these popular oceanfront resorts.

Developed by Ocean Development Properties, Inc., the Sandy Beach Phase II project team includes Mozingo+Wallace Architects, LLC as architect, R.J.Griffin & Company as General Contractor, The Hoffman Group as exclusive sales and marketing, and Shroff Development Company as Project Advisor.
